Being aware of your breath when doing yoga—and any form of physical activity, for the matter—allows the body to release toxins, the mind to relax, and brings on an overall sense of peace. Aromatherapy utilises the sense of smell to achieve emotional, mental, and physical balance. When these two are combined, their relaxation and invigorating effects are amplified.
This workshop will be led by Tanya Martin, Yoga Instructor and Essential Oil Educator. This 90-minute workshop is open to all levels (no prior yoga experience required). From stimulating and invigorating the body and mind to staying relaxed during chaotic times, yoga + oils is a winning combination for meditation and fitness. In this workshop, you will learn techniques to use in everyday situations to clear your mind, fine-tune your focus, and get energy flowing anytime of the day.
We will start with a guided meditation using aromatherapy to facilitate grounding and amplify spiritual connection. We will then move with breath, flowing through some basic yoga poses using essential oils to maintain mental focus and balance chakra energies. Then, we will end with a short educational lecture/discussion on specifics of Young Living essential oils. Attendees will receive handouts on this portion of the workshop and also have the option to create a stress relief rollerball to start SLOWING YOUR ROLL right away!
