The first of the commissions :) read a couple posts back on how to get one. . It's midnight and I need to start writing a story essay thing due tmrw and there's math stuff too😂 #horseshowproblems this weekend was so fun though. I'll post videos later. What did you do this weekend?
#throwback to our 3phase a couple of months ago with my dad 😆 and Frodos insane cuteness • •my ride time tomorrow(dressage show) is at 7:21 AM so I have to get up and get ready, drive 50 minutes to the horse park, feed him, braid, groom/tack up, warm up, and be in the ring on time. IM GONNA HAVE TO WAKE UP AT 3:45 AM. all for a 4 minute dressage test😐😂 #horseshowproblems
Bit late posting this.... Super happy with Ry & mines' first solo show. Last year I only rode English & we did excellent but circumstances changed so for the time being he will be my all around horse. He is WAY different then Vinnie & I have a lot to learn. But what a fun summer project this will be!! #ahotcommodity#apha2017#newbeginnings#2017summergoals#horseshowproblems
Did you guys read all about the Reflexology as a foot treatment?? Cuz I think I found (via my friend, and esthetician who has worked with and helped people with foot problems for years) an amazing answer - especially for US... BUSY equestrians... we might not have time for daily reflexology treatments lol.
She has been recommending some high tech socks to her clients and they've had amazing results... so.... I'm getting some and I'm super excited.
Get your feet out of those boots and into a bucket!
After a competition, or a long day training, your feet are aching and feel HUGE! it hurts to walk on them after you take them out of there, right?
One way to EASE the pain is to stay hydrated during the day... set a timer to go off every hour and make drink water! Especially with the warm summer temperatures coming (theoretically). One FABULOUS way to take that end of the day pain away.... FOOT SOAK!
Grab a tub, officially made for feet or not... a big tupperware container or roasting pan, for all I care... just don't tell your next dinner guests.... >> Fill it halfway with warm water >> Add a cup of Apple Cider Vinegar >> Sprinkle in 1 TBSP of Cayenne Pepper and stick your feet in there! After you're done, rinse your feet off, the pepper can get itchy.
If you want to take it a step further, slap on a poultice! I use Dynamite's Miracle Clay.. it's a bentonite clay. Slop it on your tootsies and wrap them in plastic wrap and put some comfy socks on... leave it overnight or for 30 mins... whatever pleases you, and rinse it off! OHHHH MAGIC!
I always remember being so excited for Easter baskets and egg hunts as a kid... something about Easter always seemed just as magical as Christmas morning. A little bummed I won't be home to spend the morning with my babies as I head down to coach at Twin Rivers, but I hope the Easter Bunny magic is just as exciting for them on Sunday morning 🐰🐣 #horseshowproblems#happyeaster#gypsylife
