Coulrophobia - day 17 of #inktober / #feartober . All month I'm creating art depicting a new phobia. What's your fear?
Coulrophobia is the persistent and irrational fear of clowns. The word “clown” may have evolved from “cloyne”, “clod” or “colonus”, meaning a country bumpkin, farmer, yokel or someone who lacks common sense. This phobia is classed as a specific or “isolated” phobia. The root word "kolon" is Greek meaning "stilt" or "stilt-walkers" which are often used by clowns.
