Love the name of this one! Mel Gibson, Scottish Ale aged in Whisky Barrels from @pohjalabeer. I was pleased that the Peatiness from the Whisky Barrel was not overpowering. Caramel, toffee, dried fruit, and a wee bit of a boozy finish. A nice wee winter warmer.
The Bourbon Barrel version of #ChrisBanker / @insurgentebrew / @stonebrewingco's Xocoveza Is pretty tasty! The original is good but the Charred is even better. Lots of lovely cinnamon, coconut, vanilla, cocoa, and a wee bit of oak as well. No real detectible head from the Pasilla Chillies which is good. Cheers @tadmandu for sharing!
