Ok, I’m done bombarding you with posts about my cards. Thank you for bearing with me. I hope you’re having a lovely day whether it’s with someone you love, with friends, or alone eating a heart-shaped pizza like me! ❤️🥀🍕 #ValentinesDay
Honest Ed’s is 100% completely, fully, totally, forever dead. Maybe you’re over it, but maybe you’re not. Either way, I have some fun things inspired by the iconic institution. •. •. • www.thebuttonmachine.com
Honest Ed’s sign came down the day before and was taken to the dump. I talked with a worker while taking pics and he unscrewed some light bulbs for me as a memento. “Honest Ed’s, crazy Honest Ed’s”. Having worked in there selling theatre tickets once upon a time, I can tell you it WAS a beacon for crazy. I walked in one day as they were taking an employee out who had hanged himself in the hardware department. I’m surprised it didn’t close years earlier than it did. Condos will be there soon. #honested#toronto
Eunice took these pictures yesterday of Honest Ed’s being demolished. I had hoped they would at least preserve the sign, but it doesn’t look that way. So many good memories, brought down to the very foundation. 😔
When your crew at @crywolfclothing enter a contest just so they can give you the prize ❤️ Thanks guys! And thank you @spacingmagazine / @spacingstore for giving away pieces of the Honest Ed’s sign! My Honest Ed’s Collection is complete. Currently at the Crywolf store, come check it out!
A piece of #Turonno history, right in our hands. A member of the Crywolf fam won a piece of the recently dismantled Honest Ed’s sign in a contest held by @spacingstore! You can see the corner of the O and the tops of the N from the iconic, giant, always illuminated, flashy sign. Naturally, we are passing this onto @buttonmachine - we couldn’t imagine anyone else having it! 💙 #honesteds#torontohistory#meanttobe#legup
