This week marks the end of my second training cycle. I have made some decent personal bests.

My Full Snatch still has a lot of work but this Power Snatch + Over Head Squat complex shoes that the potential is there.

I find catching the bar in a deep squat incredibly challenging at the moment, but with persistence and consistency, I will get there!

Most importantly I am absolutely loving the process of getting stronger - it's addictive!

#mobility - how freely one's joint can move throughout its full range of motions. In our 20's we still have the flexibility and our body recovers quickly however with time this will not be the case and if we don't allocate some time to warm up, stretching and mobility drills injury is inevitable. Of course it's great to look good, but never at the expense of your body's health and ability to perform the very basic of functions without any effort or pain. Those nagging pain and aches are your body's way of telling us something, and it's not normal to have pains and still continue pushing our bodies because eventually it will break. If we can prevent that, take care of any nagging pains and improve our performance then why not do it?
So how is stretching different from mobility. Stretching normally focuses solely on the muscle itself. 'Mobility includes the sliding surfaces (muscles, ligaments, tendons, fascia), and the the joint and motor control necessary to perform a movement correctly.
Here is a little Mobility Drill you can do if you are short of time before a workout. I try and do this 10 times at least. Also focus on your breath and do it slowly and controlled ( I had to speed the video for Instagram). Swipe right for the #fullbodyworkout I did after. Each circuit perform for 3 times.
