Stepping up the yeast bank game from 15ml plastic centrifuge tubes to 100ml reagent bottles. Added an extra O-ring in the lid to ensure proper sealing. Aiming for 20mls of yeast to 100mls of isotonic sodium chloride solution. Hopefully when this settles out I'll be close to target. Previous tests I have done have shown I can keep a yeast strain up to 12 months with no obvious effects on attenuation or flavour profile. This is WLP644. I will make a starter and re-wash every 6 months to ensure optimum yeast health. 1 down 11 to go.
