Day 35/80. My first modified #RefeedDay !!!! After eating clean and working so hard...I was allowed to eat certain approved starches containing white flour and sugar to replenish depleted glycogen stores. It’s interesting how the body reacts. I feel okay, but a little more sluggish and slight headache. Although I enjoyed filling my English muffin craving and healthy donut hole...I’m looking forward to getting back to my regularly scheduled nutrition program and leg workout tomorrow. Today I had the one of the coolest experiences as a coach yet...
.
I had someone ask what they need to do to work with me as their coach....ME. Of course I’ve had people ask what workouts I do, what meal plan I follow, but never had anyone ask for ME. You see, this took me by a huge surprise because I WITHOUT A DOUBT know the value of our home fitness and nutrition programs, that’s one of the reasons why I began coaching in the first place! But I rarely consider the value I AM in my challengers lives....
.
The thing is, I’m so imperfect...I’m on the struggle bus most days in (many) areas of life. But this woman came to me asking for help. For accountability. And for ME to help her get back to her old self... cue the tears here 😭

All this to say, I’m SO unbelievably grateful to my challengers who trust me to help them as we walk this journey together. Love you all to pieces 💞

She kicked my butt today. Hard. We battled most of the morning with TONS of tears (from her) and yelling (from both of us).

And then after her nap she was sweet as pie, wanting to help with dinner, and of course, getting her way (she put all those brussel sprouts into that bowl so if you don’t like toddler hands on your food..eat somewhere else😜).

I think the hardest thing is remaining mad at her because she really just knows how to turn in the charm.
.
I’m screwed when she becomes a teenager.🙄
.
I can say that I hope tomorrow is better but I think the two sides of her personality really need to show and shine every single day.

Sissy squats! Been working on these for a while now. They are a great exercise to strengthen the quads and keep them healthy. Start out by placing a pillow on the ground in front of you because if you lose control you don't wanna smash those pretty knees! Try to keep the hips open and stay on the tippy toes throughout
