I love a good cookbook, and was super excited about this recent gift from my mother-in-law. The home ec teachers of the 60's knew their stuff.....I mean, who could pass up Tangerine-Glazed Frankfurters or Luncheon Meat Barbecue?
Seriously, home ec is a lost art, and one I'm hoping makes a comeback. I'm a firm believer in teaching our kids to cook, and by cook I mean make a meal from scratch, not from a box. This book is a gem.....so many no-fail recipes if you can look past Gwendolyn's Last-Minute Slumgullion.
