“Just because you need a break doesn’t mean you are BROKEN!” I saw this quote the other day on my newsfeed and then again today in my workout! 💛 seriously mind blowing! 🙌🏻 I’m always so hard on myself because I feel like I should be able to handle it all! I should be able to wake up mediate, devotional, workout, make breakfast, get everyone’s day ready, take care of baby girl, play dates, library, soccer, etc, errands, chores, laundry, dinner, work, night mom duty and do it all without feeling tired or overwhelmed (well that’s how I feel I need to feel!) I ALWAYS feel bad feeling like it’s too much I’m so tired, I need a little break! But this quote has made me realize it’s OKAY TO TAKE A BREAK! 🤗 (like Shiloh displays in the picture above.) ❤️ Taking a break by again, self care, take a breath, take a nap, binge watch Netflix, ANY YOU TIME! 💛

Yesterday marked 24 years since my surgery. I had the easy job of lying asleep on the operating table for 13 hours. Can't imaging the anxieties my family and friends were experiencing that day, uncertain whether I would even remember them upon waking up.

It's been a wild, crazy journey. But I'm very blessed. I'm finally off all medication and seizure free!

I now hope to inspire others to take ownership of their circumstances... to find their own path to true health and happiness.

I watched a video this morning from the CEO of our company, and he was talking about the difference between being In it to Win It, or...to not lose. Those two things might sound similar, but they are not the same. If you are in it to win, you take action. You make decisions, and act on those decisions.

If you don’t want to lose, you think about things for a while, plan everything out to make sure everything goes the way you would like it to, and hope nothing goes wrong. Meanwhile, nothing is actually happening because you are still planning out the details. Then, you just get stuck...and don’t make any progress towards your goals!

When I first started my coaching journey, I didn’t contemplate it for months, or figure out every detail of what it would look like, I just jumped in because I knew that taking action is always the first step toward making progress towards your goals. I knew this would provide me with some serious accountability for my own goals, but also give me the opportunity to help other moms that are also in the same boat as me! Moms that are looking for a way to get in shape at home, being in a supportive and connected community, while making some part time income while still having that time with their kids.
Did I mention travel?? I was in Indy this past summer, I’m going to Florida in October for a special invite-only retreat, and on a cruise next March... 🏝 🚢. #iearnedit That part is fun too. 😜
