Smoothie bowls are my jam! These blue swirl babies are tastyyy 💎 Made with blue spirulina, I’m getting in all the nourishment, with no refined sugar and I'm ready to take on the day thanks to the super smooth and creamy @califiafarms Unsweetened Almond Milk I use to make this recipe 👊🏽 Smoothie:
2 frozen bananas, chopped
1 cup (140g) frozen pineapple, chopped
1 cup (150g) frozen grapes
1 tbsp almond butter
1 -2 tsp mesquite powder
½-1 tsp blue spirulina
1 cup (240ml) Califia Unsweetened Almond Milk

Topping:
½ mango, chopped
1 -2 tbsp dragonfruit, diced
½ kiwi, halved
1 tbsp frozen grapes
1 tbsp shredded coconut
1 tbsp granola
1 tsp hemp seeds
1-2 tsp pitaya powder (optional)
1 tbsp edible flowers (optional)

1. Place frozen bananas, pineapple, grapes, almond butter, ½ tsp blue spirulina, mesquite powder, and almond milk in your blender and whizz till smooth. Taste and check colour. If you like, add extra ½ tsp spirulina.
2. Pour into your bowl and top with fruit, coconut and granola.
3. Devour!

Other natural sweeteners like coconut sugar, stevia or erythritol are available too as diabetic or sugar-free alternatives. This can be done for our brownies and fudge cakes. this is what I do because I’ve been through it too. I first started this instagram page because I wanted to make healthy food look pretty and snap pictures of it for others to see. but it has become so much more than that. I remember when I first found out that my diet was affecting my mood and mental health, it completely changed the way I look at food. we all have things we struggle with when it comes to nutrition, everything from food sensitivities to that guilty feeling when we eat a certain way. food freedom is easy to say but hard to do. changing my nutritional lifestyle is definitely a long journey that’s so much more about the path and experiences that get me there and less so about the end result. thanks to @ghazaalnaaz92 for taking me to @museumoficecream today in SF! and although I didn’t eat the cotton candy I’m holding up there, I did try the chocolate chip mint mocchi💕! #8020rule
