...Pose🐶 This is one of those moves that can really help get your posture in check after long days of sitting. Creates extension in the T-Spine which is KEY! Make sure to give it a try!!

Here's how to perform the T-Spine Mobility Exercise (Puppy Pose)

1️⃣Start on all fours. Knees under hips, hands under shoulders.
2️⃣Walk your hands out in front of you while keeping the knees under the hips.
3️⃣Place your forehead on the floor.
4️⃣Drop chest to the ground.
🔁Hold.

#Ad/ When I was younger I never put much thought into stretching & loosening up whatever areas felt tight.
I have always had problems with tightness in my hips flexors & glutes, but since turning 30+ I seem to feel it more - or maybe I’m just listening to the symptoms for the first time #oldandwise

I’ve started implementing stretches like the one on the picture above & foam rolling. Not daily, but 5-10 minutes a few times a week.

It’s been some journey until I finally reached the point where I actively started acting on my well-being in this matter. To truly accept that I am no longer earning my money from doing professional sports = I don’t have to spend 6 hours working out daily. Nor do I have the time. With the life that I am living, and most of you reading this are as well, you need to find a balance. A balance where you keep your body and mind strong, healthy and improving, but all while making sure that longevity is what’s going to do you good in the end.

I've had to find alternative ways to stretch my legs, hip flexors & 🍑, as I don't want to strain or provoke being unbalanced doing normal leg & hip flexor stretches on the floor,
So I go up to what looks like a bar to lean on - I cock my leg up and rest my foot to my knee on the bar to feel a real good stretch, I tried to take a photo to show you as it's kinda hard to explain, .
I've been doing this for weeks now, yet the last couple of days when I cock my left leg up almost immediately I'm screaming & I have a massive dead leg feeling that's mixed with like massive nerve pain, I'm left hobbling around for a good minute until the sensation goes away.
Has this happened to you?
I'm thinking I might need some physio this week 'coz this can't be right.

⚫️⏹⏹⏹ BOSU Ball Hamstrings Machine curls ⏹⏹⏹⚫️ Medial Isolation of Hamstrings Group. 🔴Remember to stay posterior tilt all the way through movement. Pull knees together/Adductors. Slow the movement down. Pause little at top. 🔴🔴🔴. The hamstrings cross and act upon two joints - the hip and the knee. ⬇️ This is our focus ↩️↩️↩️. Semitendinosus and semimembranosus extend the hip when the trunk is fixed; they also flex the knee and medially (inwardly) rotate the lower leg when the knee is bent. ▶️
