The best part about a Women Who Hike group hike is that it brings out all kinds of women. Yesterday, I @Im_NicoleMarie was joined by these 33 women in Texas and we had women who came who were sisters, moms and daughters, women who drove from as far as Oklahoma, Amarillo and Abilene, and these women were all ages, all shapes and sizes and women of different ethnicities. These days, trying to find a group of women of this size, all different in their background and lifestyle, with the same interests and the same passions is a rarity. And it is a beautiful and exciting thing to bring you, women who hike, together and listen in on your conversations and knowing that even before we even get off the trail, there are more adventures in the works. When we leave, we get to watch as you come together and plan your own hikes, camping and adventure. You make us proud.
Thanks to every one of you who joined us yesterday. I never imagined that I would come away and be so heartfully invested in all of you, hearing your stories and also just excited to watch you all grow as women of the trail on your own and as a group.
And, thanks to the team from @MerrellOutside and @alyssaadventures88 on the ground for helping us set up such an awesome event!
If you see yourself in this photo and joined us yesterday (there's too many of you to tag) comment below... thank you again, to all of you: Women Who Hike Texas 💪.
