My keeper 馃尯Coraz贸n de melon 馃尯my medicine these past couple of weeks. I've been fighting some postpartum depression and a horrendous stomach bug. Been taking a couple of days to refocus my energy. The energy you put out to the world is the energy you will get back. Instead of creating content that wasn't purposeful, I've been getting my mind on the right path so I can continue doing my job by feeding you daily with positive information and quality content.

I feel great this week. So many great things to share with you guys.

Going to put this funk in another box and talk to you guys this week about my whole pregnancy journey and the postpartum issues nobody really talks about.
Happy Thursday my darlings....let's radiate positive vibes!

Estas 煤ltimas semanas han sido un poco turbulentas para mi.En vez de crear contenido forzado, opte por tomar unos d铆as para enfocar mi energ铆a a un camino con prop贸sito y positivo. Lidiando con una energ铆a muy baja debido a los cambios hormonales postparto y es tiempo de compartir con ustedes un proceso que no muchos hablan.

[read below for nutrition info] 馃憞馃徑 What's on your plate for dinner? Here's what I had 1.5hrs after I pumped some iron at the gym [quinoa, grilled chicken, saut茅ed spinach, avocado]. Post workout I usually drink a plant based protein shake with a piece of fruit immediately when I'm done to help my muscles repair. If you're looking to increase muscle size, protein is a must. Those tiny muscle tears you create during an intense workout (reason why you feel sore the next day or two ) need protein in order to heal. Overtime this is how you create hyperthrophy (muscle growth). This is why we say one doesn't put muscle in the gym. Nutrition and proper recovery is what truly helps us in the 馃挭馃徑department.
A meal like this one could also be a preworkout meal if ingested 2-2.5 hours prior to working out. If you want to create these muscle tears, then you need to "lift" heavy resistance. And you will need to have energy in order to do so.

Fuel your body to beast your workouts. Get outside of your comfort zone EVERY SINGLE TIME. Reward your body with the right types of food. Rest. Then DO IT AGAIN.

Que comieron de cena ustedes? Aqu铆 les tengo lo que yo com铆 1.5hrs despu茅s de una sesi贸n de levantamiento de pesas fuerte. Quinoa, aguacate, pollo a la parrilla, y espinaca salteada.
Inmediatamente despu茅s de entrenar suelo beberme un batido de prote铆na con una porci贸n de fruta para reponer y comenzar el proceso de recuperaci贸n muscular. El que quiere poner m煤sculo tiene que comer prote铆na y balancear las comidas. Esta puede ser tambi茅n un ejemplo de que comer 2-2 1/2 hrs antes de entrenar fuerte porque te dar谩 la energ铆a para rendir en tus entrenamientos. La nutrici贸n es la clave.

Sunday funday band work 馃弸馃徑鈥嶁檧锔 Who worked out today? I challenge you and a friend. Tag them! If you try it tag me with #MAWARRIORCHALLENGE. This workout is focusing on increasing strength , cardiovascular endurance, explosiveness, and balance. It was simply a killer. Combine two exercises and perform for as many reps as possible for the duration of 30 seconds each without any rest in between.

Feliz domingo mi gente. Quien se ejercit贸 ya? Aqu铆 les tengo un reto. Menciona a un amigo y si lo tratan usen el #MAWARRIORCHALLENGE y menci贸nenme. Esta rutina no s贸lo trabaja en incrementar la fuerza, pero tambi茅n tu rendimiento cardiovascular, explosividad, y balance. Hi 馃憢馃徑 I am alive and yes, we are still pregnant. I've been missing in action finalizing my 8 week program that launches in a few days. All my energy and focus is to finish it so I haven't been able to post much here. I am extremely tired, experiencing contractions but they aren't getting any stronger. I'm not sure when she would like to come but I think she's waiting on me to be done with work 馃 what a good girl! I'm more active on Snapchat : MassyFit! In the next few days I'll resume my posts, but right now, I gotta perfect this! Will announce soon!
