Shape update want ik blijf toch een Fitgirl 🤓 April 2016 had ik m'n laatste wedstrijd voor bikini fitness. Erna heeeelemaal losgegaan met eten. Ik had geen stop meer. Daarna weer wat normaler gedaan. Ik tel sindsdien niet meer m'n eten. Tuurlijk weet ik inmiddels hoeveel ik kan eten, waar wat ( koolhydraten, eiwitten en vetten) in zit en wat werkt voor mij. Sinds april 2016 eet ik alles wat ik wil, en wie me kent weet dat ik een hele grote eter ben. Persreisjes helpen er ook niet echt bij 🙈 Lopend Buffet? Ik vreet me vol. Maar Hee, ik ben wellicht anders dan toen ik bikini fitness deed, en wie weet doe ik ooit wel weer eens een wedstrijd (want ja, ik vind het een geweldige sport, ik heb onwijs veel respect voor meiden die deze topsport aandurven.. wat een kick!) maar voor nu voel ik me super! ✌🏻 Ik voel me goed. Train weer zwaarder dan normaal, heb zin in PR's, heb zin in spiermassa op te bouwen en lijntjes in m'n buik te zien. Gewoon lekker aankloten. Burgers en trainen. Chocolade en bankhangen. Personal Trainingen en uitslapen. Zolang je maar gelukkig bent, met wie je bent en hoe je eruit ziet. Dat is 't allerbelangrijkste. En ja ik geef toe, ik moest ook rete wennen aan m'n (nieuwe) shape want deze jaren ben ik door bikini fitness kilo's aangekomen (bulk 2015) en kilo's afgevallen (cut 2016). Hebben jullie heeeel wat verschillende foto's voorbij zien komen (weten jullie m'n smalle koppie nog met m'n lange lokken?). Dit is wie ik nu ben, and I am freaking HAPPY! Zo niet, dan pas ik m'n levensstijl aan tot ik weer HAPPY ben. En ja tuurlijk twijfelde ik ook, van Hee? Is dit Instagram waardig? Is dit wel een goed voorbeeld? Of toch wat strakker? Pff socials blijft lastig he? Realistisch zijn en niet te moeilijk doen. Daar bereik je t meeste mee!! Wilde ik even kwijt! #deargoodmorning #shapeupdate #shape #bikini

❌Leg Press Mistake?❌

🙌I always preach a full range of motion when performing any exercise, but at times trying to push the range too much can lead to injury and puts yourself at risk

😖When performing the leg press I used to think it was all about going as low as possible even if that meant getting uncomfortable. By uncomfortable I mean raising your butt way off the pad to get a deeper stretch (❌as shown in the photo). Eventually after doing this workout after workout I hurt my lower back pretty bad

✅In reality, take the leg press as low as you can before your but starts to elevate off the pad. You will get the proper depth for sure and remain injury free, which is more important

💯Train smarter not harder. What I mean by that is over doing an exercise for a month to maybe get “more out of it” is not worth it in the long run when you then have to spend 2 months rehabbing an injury caused by simply acting carelessly

📝If an exercise feels uncomfortable or gives any sort of pain it could mean you are performing it incorrectly or just do not have the proper mobility. Another example of this would be forcing FULL depth squats (ATG) and experiencing some pain from the reps. Work with your current mobility and with ranges of motion and exercises that feel comfortable

👇How do you feel about the leg press? I know many people find it to be inferior to squatting and therefore a waste of time, but I think when done properly and with intensity it can be an essential piece of your routine

Work hard to move the needle| I’m currently reviewing my recovery and strain over the last few month that I’ve tracked with my @whoop . There are definitely opportunities for me to improve on my sleep which help my recovery but even further than that, I need to push harder than I’m currently am and do more to move the needle. Gotta think of more ways to maximize the time I have and be more efficient. Here’s to working harder and taking advantage of every second. #missionpossiblepat
