QUICK FULL BODY CIRCUIT. Because sometimes ya short on time but you still want to get a good workout in with the time you have! I put this on my story Saturday so I figured I'd share full details because I'm sure we can all relate to being short on time! 🙋🏻Side Note: This video is sped up so I could fit in the circuit in 60seconds video.

I used the studio room in my local gym. Using the distance of one side of the room to the other with little rest here is what I did:
🔹Frog Jumps from one side into push-ups(12-15) into Burpee push-ups (4-5) repeat for 8 times(back and fourth 4 times)
🔹Sideways Lunge Squats down and back into front dumbbell raises(8-10) into dumbbell overhead press(10-12) repeat for 4 rounds
🔹Box Jump Squats (8-10) into kickbacks (20 each leg) repeat 4 times

You could also take this workout outside or at home with weights or gallon jugs of water! For me, I would rather get something in than nothing! #motivationmonday @maristellacitelli

I struggle with emotion of feeling overwhelmed A LOT. Overwhelmed with what I should be achieving in my career, goals, knowledge, self- development. I get the feeling that I'm behind, or wasting time, or not being productive enough. Always expecting more of myself, putting extra pressure on situations, setting new challenges.
And then this is what I tell myself: CHILL. OUT. 🤚🏽 Relax and trust the timings. We will figure out our career paths, our relationships and the people we want to be. We need to enjoy the now.
When we start to embrace that idea that where we are is where we're meant to be, we adopt a more attractive and creative energy that we can use to push ourselves forward.
Remember to laugh today, remember to smile back at a stranger, remember to not sweat the big things and celebrate the small wins instead.
In the meantime, I recommend sitting on the floor and figuring your shit out for a minute or two...🤔👆🏽#tuesdayrealtalk

Muito se falou recentemente sobre a Eritropoetina (EPO) devido a um caso de doping, mas qual seria a função fisiológica dessa molécula?

A EPO é um hormônio glicoproteico produzida principalmente pelos rins. Quando as células renais constatam baixa de oxigênio no sangue ou um número insuficiente de eritrócitos, glóbulos vermelhos responsáveis por transportar oxigênio sanguíneo, os rins liberam a EPO. Esta, desloca-se até a medula óssea e promove a produção de mais células transportadoras de oxigênio, aumentado a oferta de oxigênio muscular e consequentemente melhorando seu desempenho

Há algumas décadas a EPO recombinante já é produzida e pode ser utilizada para tratar doenças como anemia, porém alguns atletas a usam para melhorar performance mesmo que proibida e possivelmente nociva a saúde em doses altas

A boa notícia é que existem estratégias naturais para aumentar a produção endógena de EPO, como: alguns alimentos e vitaminas, treinamento intervalado de alta intensidade e a altitude
