White sweet potatoes are maybe becoming my new favorite potato. This one was HUGE and so creamy and sweet. I find these sweet potatoes more dense and filling than orange sweet potatoes. Lunch after was simple, but delicious! I'm harnessing the abundance of fresh ripe and incredibly delicious fruit here to eat all raw while on vacation πŸ‰πŸπŸ‘πŸ₯πŸˆ Tonight I found fresh figs and apricots - and they were sooo heavenly. Eating this way makes me feel so incredibly good, I think whoever ate raw at least for a few days will understand what I mean... It's actually somewhat magical! ✨ Fueling my body with only "living" foods, full of antioxidants, vitamins, minerals and so much more we still only know so little about... It feels so natural when it's so hot and all these fruits are in season. I would never go completely raw, I don't believe in strict rules and it is just not maintainable with cold winters. But whenever I actually feel like it and have the fruit available I'm absolutely loving it 🌞 #listentoyourbody Have you ever tried eating raw? β™₯️ .

Vegan alfredo with broccoli, mushrooms, and spinach topped with crumbled tempeh bacon and homemade vegan parmesan. And I promise it's healthy! Recipe will be below. Cauliflower Alfredo
1 med head of cauliflower, broken into florets and roasted until beginning to brown
1/2 cup unsweetened and unflavoured plant milk
1/4 cup nutritional yeast
Juice of half a lemon
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt/pepper to taste
Pasta prepared according to directions
SautΓ©ed or roasted broccoli and mushrooms (optional)
Baby spinach or kale (optional)
Fresh parsley to garnish

Blend roasted cauliflower, milk, nutritional yeast, lemon juice, and seasonings in a high power blender until super creamy. Poor over pasta and stir to coat. Add in optional veggies/greens and warm through. Top with fresh parsley. Enjoy!

Although it is pretty warm already I just wanted to have some baked oatmeal. Had it with currants and bananas of course 😁✌️
Started my day by doing a really short run (2,5km). Really have to get back into running. Pretty sure that I would enjoy it more if I wasn't hurt that much so I will try to start really easy again.

Do you know how heartbreaking it is when you've planned a meal, got all the fresh ingredients and then get ready to cook and find out something has gone off? Well...that was the case with the Tofu I got this morning 😐. It was supposed to be good to eat until 12th July....😏 I opened the pack and I knew something was wrong when I threw out the water and it smelled weird. Usually the water has no smell whatsoever. I thought maybe it was just that batch, but after cooking it and trying I piece, I had to bin the lot 😭 So this is what was left of my dinner πŸ˜” Better luck for tomorrow I guess πŸ˜•

Good morning 🌞 I could not decided for the life of me what to have for breakfast this morning. Going back and forth between nice cream and oats. The daily struggle πŸ˜‚ After much contemplation, of course, I went with oats. But I tried something new today! This is ginger spiced pear oatmeal πŸ˜‹ I just combined oats, water, a mashed banana, chia seeds, lots of cinnamon and ginger, caramel extract, and maca powder. Then I topped this with pecans, buckwheat, sliced pear and added some peanut butter later πŸ€— I forgot how sweet and tasty pears are! I don't ever buy them but I think they're underrated. What are some fruits you guys enjoy but don't get enough credit? πŸ˜‰

Please read belowπŸ‘‡. πŸŒ±πŸ…I've lost 13kg in 6 months which has been a mega big deal for me! Going vegan is all it took! 🌿Now I'm at a stand still and need YOUR ADVICE!
I am not losing any more weight and exercise more than I ever have done.
Aim- Reduce body fat, get leaner and tone
My weight currently is 68.6kg which is still classed as overweight according to the NHS bmi calculator.
Please has anyone got any tips, advise..do's and don't to achieve my aim.
My diet is pretty high carb, low fat but aware I may need to make slight adjustments.
Also can anyone recommend a good vegan protein shake?

WÀre ja früher nie auf die Idee gekommen, eine fette Schüssel Eis als "Mittagessen" zu bezeichnen, aber wenn es sich dabei um Nicecream handelt, sieht die Sache schon ganz anders aus 😁 Bei der Hitze hab ich auch gar keine Lust auf "richtiges" Essen. Viel zu schwer. Da kommt mir dieses Schüsselchen Bananen-Kirsch-Eis mit Mango, Granola & Kokoschips sehr gelegen.
Das Granola ist ΓΌbrigens das Zitronengranola von dm. πŸ‹ Als MΓΌsli schmeckt es mir so gar nicht, aber als Topping fΓΌr Nicecream macht es sich sehr gut!
