Squats sind eine gute (weil funktionale) Form des Bein-Gesäß-Krafttrainings.
Für Krafttrainingseinheiten empfehlen wir Squat-Varianten, bei denen beide Füße nebeneinander und maximal schulterbreit auseinander stehen. Squats mit weit gespreizten Beinen (z.B. Sumo-Squat & lunge) bewirken Zug auf den instabilen Beckenring und seine umgebenden Muskeln, was zu Beschwerden führen kann.
Das Gesäß im Krafttraining nicht tiefer als Knie-Höhe absenken, sonst wird der Beckenboden gedehnt und mit zu viel Bauch-Innendruck nach unten geschoben! (Die Beckenboden-Dehnung für Schwangere gehört ins Mobility-Training oder ins Stretching, nicht aber ins Krafttraining.) Wichtig bei der Squat-Durchführung: Langsam mit guter Technik runter in die Kniebeuge und vor der Aufwärtsbewegung (Streckung) bitte Beckenboden und Muskelkorsett aktivieren!
