SWIPE. Once your henna is done, allow it to dry for about 10-15 minutes then spray with lemon-sugar sealant.
Let it dry again and then wrap it with hypafix or saniderm tape. If you don't have tape then just make sure to keep the henna on for 3-4 hours.
Ideally leaving it on all night undisturbed always works best for me personally.
When the time's up, remove the henna paste by scraping it out. Avoid water if you can.
Your design will be light orange/red at first. This is completely normal.
Moisturize your henna with our Henna Care Balm (found online at www.hennasooq.com). Rub the balm on the design before and after exposure to water and throughout the day in general for best results.
Henna takes up to 2 days to reach full color (same as with your henna for hair applications and henna nails). All of these steps along with using a high quality henna powder/paste ensures a longer and darker henna design (aka henna tattoo). Do you have a step that you do that you'd like to share? We'd love to hear from you. ❤️- Khadija
