How to freeze fruits (or veggies) to enjoy all year. The IQF method, Individual Quick Freeze.
1. Pick it, obviously 😉
2. Clean it
(Remove stems, some veggies require blanching)
3. Cut as desired
4. Place on a tray, use parchment paper or wax paper for easy removal from tray once frozen.
5. Freeze it
6. Measure it out, so you know how much you have. Measure it out to fit your needs.
7. Place in bags for vacumn sealing. (You can also use freezer bags & suck the air out with a straw 🤔)
8. Place bag in sealer & watch the air get sucked out, store in freezer.
•Remember to date the bag & write the weight (or cups) on it. Recording the amount is useful for later, especially if your going to use it in recipes. For example, your going to make muffins & need 3 cups of fruit it would be nice to be able to thaw 3 cups.
