Welcome to Global Awareness.
Today is our first post and it pertains to a "legal" kill of a beautiful lion cub on Africa.
The six-year-old lion cub, Xanda, was shot by a trophy hunter outside of the Hwange National Park in Zimbabwe—close to the area where Cecil was killed with a bow and arrow in 2015—the Telegraph first reported.
Zimbabwean professional hunter Richard Cooke reportedly saw the collar after killing Xanda, and he later returned it to the researchers. Because the lion was over the age of six and outside the park’s boundaries, the kill was legal in the country.
When Palmer shot Cecil with a bow and arrow once the lion left the park, but only wounded him at the time. Palmer and Bronkhorst tracked Cecil for hours before shooting him with a gun and killing him. Palmer paid around $55,000 for this hunt.
Please see the full article for details.
We offer the same $55K for the head of Palmer and/or Bronkhorst. We would also happily pay for the opportunity to send either of these two reckless wimps in to the jungle to be hunted. There should be retribution and we're happy to help achieve it.
There should be no reason animals are hunted, for sport or any other reason, and thus taken from their family's and our planet.
Help us end this end animal cruelty.
