ANZAC Day - Very humbling to live beside and know a WWII Veteran. I can't even imagine some of the things this gentleman has done and seen; he's such a wonderful person to know and learn from. I'm thankful for those who have served and for those who have sacrificed it all. Lest We Forget
Today I went back to Woodville library @charlessturtsa to take some photos of the paste ups that went up a few weeks ago in the courtyard to coincide with their Native Plant Sale. I had lots of community members contribute on the day. We had 15 local indigenous plants represented coming from a group of about 75 plants that used to grow in the area. This was a small test activity for my project Memorial for Forgotten Plants, I have been working on this as a part of my @guildhouse_au LimberUp mentorship with @laurafranceswills
Next Saturday 7th April, I am going to be pasting up some of my drawings at the Woodville Library City of Charles Sturt Civic Centre coinciding with their Native Plant Sale and the West Croydon Veggie Swap. Come and help me paste up my drawings and grab some local native plants too. I will be there from 10am-1pm. This is a bit of a test for my project Memorial for Forgotten Plants which I have been working on with help from my mentor @laurafranceswills as a part of the @guildhouse_au LimberUp mentorship program.
