BACK TO RUNNING
I woke up, remembering myself saying I will try running again this weekend. Finding back to my rhythm step by step. The day has come - there is no tomorrow, only a now.
Half asleep, I prepared my lemon water in the kitchen, trying to stretch and do some squats to wake up the glutes while the water was boiling. I was too tired to plan a cool outfit, I decided to look like a mismatched rainbow. 6C outside, I can go with my hoodie on.
I turned on my Drake running mix to feel a little sexy and extra hyped and off I was. No one was out there, it was just me, the trees, and the lake. Hello nature, fall is passing us too fast, I can't even enjoy all the different colors outside. I fit perfectly into the colorful trees and the beautiful nature around them.
My running felt smooth and my tempo was quiet okay. Paris was all on my mind. This run wasn't about a best time or the longest distance, I just wanted to move my feet. I'm still worried about my toe, it doesn't hurt anymore but it's still beautiful purple, haha. Paris changed a lot. Body wise and mentally.
I'm still writing all of my running things down, because I care and I want to remember all the pleasure and pain.
Today I remember running with no pressure. The mismatched rainbow is back after a 4 week break and I couldn't be happier.
Merci again Paris. Will I finally continue with my half marathon training?
