In 2006 I found this dvd somewhere and started to play it on repeat and repeat and repeat. Made the list with things I was grateful for. Started to repeat them like a skipping needle. Today I am grateful for having toothpaste to brush my teeth with. Today I am grateful for having warm water to take a shower. Today I am grateful for having a roof above my head. Today I am grateful for having a warm place to stay. Today I am grateful for having a bed to sleep in. Today I am grateful for having enough food. Today I am grateful for having clean clothes. • • Instafilter #hefe 🏗 • • I'ld expand that list nowadays with: Today I am grateful for having an internet connection. Today I am grateful for having a smartphone. Today I am grateful for being capabel to walk away from people that bad, rude or unkind to me. Today I am grateful to erase people out my life that only took profit from me and my generosity without giving me interest back. The visualisation part of #thesecret failed for me however, strange thing is that all meditation visualisations I tried over the years failed for me. Didn't find one method that truely worked. 🤔 In 2013 I got the answer on that one: it has more to do with the "granted factor" or translated in Dutch the "#gunfactor" (from the Dutch verb gunnen = award/ grant) • •
Some great things in the works! Can't quite reveal it all yet, but for now I can say I may have landed my first gig! Super thrilled right now, but will see how it all turns out! Gotta start somewhere 🐾
