Me in September 2005 at the Hedlund exhibition at the National Museum of Science and Technology here in Sweden where I first saw the bike in the flesh. The blue & yellow bike I later bought in the winter 2005/2006. The Hedlund engine only 58 built in total and just a couple in different road bike chassis. And May 2007 when I was satisfied with the looks. But in the end I only drove about 100 km with it the five years I owned it. A bike that really challenged me and took my mechanical skills up many levels. Truly a real dream bike for me, but a nightmare to wrench, start and drive and in the end I had to let it go.
The money I got for it I kept far down in the vault until that money later made it possible to build the Bombus Speedster. But this time the money is gone for good because the Speedster is a keeper.
