It's important to adapt your training to your current life circumstances. For example, I worked 20 hours over 3 days moving beer and wine. My body wasn't used to it, so my posterior chain has been quite tender, as well as a large calorie deficit, due mainly to time and high activity levels.
So yesterday I did a < 30 minute workout, consisting of 1 top set of flat BB press (140kg x 13), incline DB press (50kg x 10) & BW dips (135kg x 15). I did this to maintain strength and keep cortisol levels lower than a usual higher volume session, in order to minimise lean tissue catabolism. #gym #chest #bench #heavyaf #gains
