Finally home after 24hr delay of BA815 CPH-LHR and an extremely frustrating experience. It has been delays, miscommunication, no communication, endless queues, and TWO failed boarding attempts. First attempt at 8pm Sunday, when the plane finally arrived from London. Upon disembarking the pilot wondered why we were all at the gate since the flight had been further delayed until the morning - except @british_airways had failed to pass on the message to CPH ground staff. Told to return next day for 7am departure (second attempt). All pax present and ready to go, but BA had forgotten to inform the crew that they're flying out. Once crew was finally located and fully rested (adding extra delays) we were able to board on the third attempt.
To ad insult to injury, @scandinavianairline flights to LHR were departing no problem.
@british_airways I understand that weather can cause disruption but it's ridiculous that you as a company is so ill equipped to deal with this situation. The lack of information was infuriating and astounding. The failure to communicate vital decisions to staff and customers ridiculous verging on farcical.
Even ground staff were pulling their hair out as they didn't know anything, and were only being drip fed information from BA in #London.
For what's is worth, the pilot and his crew were fantastic and deserve a medal!
