Everyone has been asking me for pregnancy roller blends so here are some I have used and found to be extremely helpful!

Most of these oils are what we consider the basics in essential oils, either found in my top ten kits or in the AromaTouch Diffused kit which makes getting oils you need super easy and affordable.

🌿Sleep
• 10 drops of Serenity
• 5 drops of Balance
• 3 drops of Wild Orange
• Top with FCO and apply to sternum, the big toe and the spine.
🌿Energy
• 5 drops of Frankincense
• 5 drops of Lemon
• 8 drops of Peppermint
• Top with FCO and apply to wrists, feet, or the back of the neck.
🌿Nausea
• 5 drops of Lemon or any other citrus oil
• 5 drops of Peppermint
• Top with FCO and apply to the stomach area. Also try the palms of your hands and inhale through your nose anytime smells cause nausea.

We were running errands this morning, when I suddenly remembered it was a school day, and Ollie hadn’t eaten lunch yet. I asked him what he wanted, and he responded “grilled cheese”. Fine, except we were out of cheese, and I didn’t have time for a grocery run. What I DID have time for, was a stop at the Quick Check a mile from home.

You see, they sell made to order sandwiches and wraps. I have never eaten them (not many options for a vegetarian), but I figured they’d have grilled cheese. I felt bad about giving O grilled cheese from a gas station...I really did. 😞 But pressed for time, I did what I had to.

So, we ordered a plain grilled cheese and headed home to grab our school stuff. When we got home, I put the sandwich on a plate with some berries. He took one bite and said to me, “mama, this doesn’t taste delicious” (cue heart breaking and melting simultaneously). “What do you mean, baby? It’s grilled cheese! Do you want me to take off the crust?”. “Ok, mama”. -
Bear tries another bite and says, “mama, this doesn’t taste good. Try it. I don’t like it”. I tried it, and I had to agree. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Then my proud mama heart exploded: “can I have a banana and peanut butter instead?”. 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍 I’m the luckiest.

Muffins made by Melly. I haven’t tasted them but I suspect they’re yummy due to all of the maple syrup she poured in there. It’s not a necessary ingredient, but I was too busy fighting a fever to fight her, while she was creating her masterpiece. And a little sugar never hurt anyone...

Ridiculously delicious and enormous chicken BLT salad. Made a bacon vinaigrette and used up some leftover bread I had frozen to make garlic croutons to make this salad 👌💯. Does anyone else make homemade hummus?? I need ideas for unique variations. I love making hummus during the week to make wraps with, eat with rice crackers & tabouli, & for Brodie’s lunch. This is traditional hummus w smoked paprika. When Brodie was younger I would purée steamed zucchini into it & other things to sneak in healthy foods 😂. He’s on to me now! 🍋

The last thing I wanted to do was chaperone a baking session with a three year old, while practically overdosing on paracetamol just to stand up straight. But before I knew it, she had cracked an egg, mashed a banana and was well on her way. And then we went straight back to #pjmasks on loop after this exhausting activity.

Really simple nourishing meal for Bowie as I prep her food for the day. All of this was batch cooked on Sunday night to cut down on the morning rush. All organic brown rice, chicken thighs, and broccoli minced small enough where she can’t pick it out 😜before packing I heated it with a teaspoon of coconut oil, splash of olive oil, and dash of salt to give it a sweet and savory flavor. #healthytoddler #mealprep

Healthy, hearty breakfast on this chilly morning for my little growing toddler. Gotta keep him strong during this cold and flu season. The thought of dealing with a sick baby during holiday travels WHILE pregnant is exhausting enough. 🙅🏼‍♀️ So taking precautions with yummy, healthy meals to keep our immune systems strong! (So good, even Cricket likes it!)
Ingredients: oatmeal, chia seeds, coconut flakes, goat milk, powdered probiotics and vitamin D liquid drops.

Busy rest of the week ahead and knew I had to have things handy!! Spent a bit of time prepping meals.

WONTON SOUP 🍜🍲

So here is the noodle soup version of the wontons I made the other day. Once you have wrapped the wontons in the pastry they can be frozen and cooked from frozen as and when needed! Boil them in your soup for 5-10 mins until they float to the top then they’re cooked. It’s brilliant how you can make two such different dishes from them - one is a party snack and the other a warming, wholesome meal!

These wontons are served with a clear soup (simple/basic recipe below), wilted lettuce leaves (chop these finely for babies as they may find them hard to swallow in larger pieces), egg noodles and a little coriander.

SOUP BASE
Low salt stock of your choice
A teaspoon of sesame oil
A pinch of white pepper
(Adults can add fish or soya sauce and chilli flakes)
This is also tasty with chopped spring onion/scallions or fried crispy garlic slices.
For a richer soup, beat an egg and pour the beaten egg into the mix - it will cook in contact and form little clouds of egg.

💚Breakfast today- oats cooked in yesterday's leftover veggie smoothie! Check out yesterday's post to see how I made our festive 'Tinsel Tree' smoothie- cauliflower and spinach are the main ingredients 🎄👍🏻 I gently simmered the oats in the leftover smoothie, and added some more water and lots of chia & flax seed. Topped with our homemade almond butter, berries, hemp hearts and @hilltop_honey bee pollen. This was a brilliant wake up and total tummy filler 🙌🏻 . ❗️Anyone worried about using veggies in smoothies or porridge bowls- DON'T! ❗️You just can't taste them- at all. You're getting all that goodness into yourself and your little person, and it's totally undetectable 👍🏻👍🏻 I'm not keen on hiding veggies, I'd rather tell her what things are on her plate and let her decide. Usually spinach gets ignored, and recently she's been off cauli too. But she put all the ingredients into the blender- she knew spinach and cauli were going in. And she slurped it straight up and was desperate for more. Kids are crazy little creatures. If yours aren't keen on veggies, mix it up and try a different technique 💚 #momwins .

Recipe: Ritz crackers crushed to use as breading, Parmesan cheese, 3 chicken breast sliced in half to thin, 1 tbsp of: garlic powder, onion powder, triple blend seasoning, 1tsp: sea salt and olive oil to grease pan and 2 eggs. Mix Ritz crackers, cheese, seasoning and salt in a dish. Scramble two eggs in another dish. Preheat oven to 350. Dip chicken in eggs then in breading mix. Lay on pan. Bake for 30 min.
