I get asked all the time how do I stay motivated, how do I always have the energy to workout, when do I find the time. Or comments suggesting that my life is easier, as if I am some magic fairy without any real life concerns 💫🍄 - actually that is me 😝
LOOK!!! We are all going thru shit, we all have struggles, we all have the ability to make excuses, BUT we also all have the POWER to say YES, to learn how to give to ourselves, to say, "you know what I deserve this, I am a priority." 🙏
Just as easily as we tell ourselves no, we can start to tell ourselves a different story about all the things we can do.
So yes, honey, you can workout.
You are motivated.
You will find new and more exciting inspiration.
You have the time.
You can make it work.
You have the strength.
Everything is working out for you.
I used to tell myself I couldn't workout in the mornings because Malakai would wake up (we co-sleep and he magically senses when I want to do anything for mommy). But one morning I realized that it is ok for him to get up with me, I have him watch his shows on iPad while I get in my AM cardio, and sometimes he even joins in with me. We are side by side. At my 30 second rests I give him a kiss, hand him a blueberry (or whatever he is eating that morning, which is usually some kind of fruit). I don't stress about my sets and having to get it all in. When I did that it was a struggle. Now, I allow. And I get my entire circuit in with ease. But it all started with shifting my thoughts about being able to workout in the morning with Malakai 🌞🌈🌻 Joining an online challenge #30daytransformationteam gave me the push that I needed to shift my mindset. This is also why I host online challenges to help other moms/women overcome their own internal obstacles for caring for themselves. We were created to become our greatest versions!
