Cabbage Ceasar Salad
--------------------
Serves 6-8
1/2 cabbage finely chopped
1 bunch spring onions finely chopped
300g bacon
1 cp S&W whole egg mayonaise (is gluten free
Juice of half a medium sized lemon
2 tsps cornwells white vinegar (or other gluten free white vinegar)
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp paprika
2 tbsp olive oil --------------------
🔹In a large mixing bowl place the finely chopped cabbage.
🔹Cook bacon until crispy and then set aside. Cook spring onions with 1 tbsp of olive oil for 2 mins and then add to cabbage.
🔹Chop up bacon into tiny bits and add to cabbage.
🔹Combine mayonaise, lemon juice, vinegar, pepper, paprika and remaining olive oil and mix well.
🔹Add to bowl with all other ingredients and mix to combine.

For this week’s post, I wanted to share the recipe for these pumpkin energy bites that a lot of people have asked me for! 🎃 Pumpkin is full of vitamin A and fiber + it’s low in calories! This recipe has a good balance of pumpkin/peanut butter so the pumpkin taste isn’t overwhelming. You can find more healthy recipes like this when you sign up for a @revolfitness membership!! 😉

2 cups oatmeal [old fashioned or quick oats]
1/2 cup all-natural PB [or other nut butter]
1/2 cup pumpkin puree
1/4 cup chia seeds
1/4 cup honey
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice
1/2 cup mini dark chocolate chips 😍😛
*make sure to refrigerate them!*

cacao | sweet potato smoothie bowl
1 scoop @ancientnutr bone broth protein
1 tbsp. cacao powder
1 tsp. maca powder
1 tsp. acacia fiber
1 tsp. MSM powder (for detox & inflammation)
1/2 cup steamed & cooled sweet potato
1/2 - 1 cup hemp milk
4-5 ice cubes
dash stevia
blend in a powerful blender till smooth!
Toppings: cacao nibs + @spreadthelove almond butter
The inside of a sweet potato is full of soluble fiber which is incredibly healing & great for digestion - soluble fiber draws water into the large intestine & softens your stool. If you have digestive distress (especially sluggish digestion or constipation) make sure to include both soluble fiber (starchy insides of veggies like sweet potatoes) and insoluble fiber (greens, cruciferous veg, etc.) we need both and people often overdo it on insoluble fiber. 🌈Moroccan tabbouleh with sumac and pomegranate 🌱

Kick starting the weekend with this beauty👌

Here’s how to make 👉 .

Ingredients: (for 4 servings)
•150g bulgar wheat
•100g Quinoa
•Pinch of salt and pepper
•1 bunch of flat leaf parsley •3 spring onions
•8 cherry tomatoes
•1/2 cucumber •1 lemon juiced
•4tbsp olive oil
•1 pomegranate
•Sprinkle of sumac
Method: •Cook both the bulgar wheat and quinoa according to instructions, drain and allow to cool.
•Chop up the parsley, spring onions, tomatoes and cucumber and mix in a bowl with the lemon juice and olive oil.
•Mix in the bulgar wheat and quinoa and season with salt and pepper. Finally sprinkle with sumac according to taste. •Enjoy with a cucumber and yogurt dip or eat as is 👩‍🍳 Happy Friday everyone! Let me know if you try this!
