I just can't keep my hands out of the cookie jar πŸͺ what you'll need: 2 tbsp melted coconut butter + 1 egg + 2 tbsp honey/maple syrup (optional) + 1/2 tsp baking soda + 1 tsp vanilla extract + 1 cup almond flour + 1/2 unsweetened coconut + 2 tbsp hemp hearts + dark chocolate. The steps: preheat oven to 350. Whisk egg, vanilla and melted coconut butter together until smooth. In an a separate bowl, mix all dry ingredients. Combine wet & dry ingredients, stir to combine, & finally add the chocolate! Bake for 12 min! Enjoy!

YOU KNOW WHAT IT IS. Okay maybe you don't so I'll just tell ya. It's that time of the year again for PUMPKIN PIE OATSπŸŽƒ I swear, during this time I feel the most inspired/prep for my New Year's resolutions. Giiiirl say what? That's like 4 months from now. I know, but around this time last year I took my first reformer pilates class and started to really get my health in check🍏 I got into nutrition and fitness almost 10 years ago, but I wasn't always consistent. Honestly (like most ppl in their 20s), I was going through a huge party stage so to make up for those long binge drinking nights, I would calorie restrict/cut out food groups (such as carbsπŸ‘ŽπŸΌ) THINKING I was making up for it, but really I just created nightly binge eating cycles. I used to work out extra hard in the gym in a short time span in order to "look fit" for an upcoming event. I just want to say, THIS IS NOT HEALTHYπŸ™…πŸΌ I was physically and mentally burning myself out so hard that I would fall off the grid for months at a time. Last year, I decided to create this slow process for myselfπŸ‘‰πŸΌI didn't want to have to think too hard about it. I didn't even take a single progress picture like I used toπŸ™„ I've really grown to fall in the love this lifestyle because I didn't force it on myself. I'm more active/productive all day long, I'm the strongest I've ever been in my life (Wait, I actually grew a pair of biceps?), I crave all the veggies and eat a hell of a lot of them, and I treat myself everyday to what some would call "cheat meals" or "cheating" but when your mentality has changed, you realize what the hell does that even mean? Sure some food might not be the best for you, but don't eat that crap all the time and don't eat a plate full of it. Mix it up! I've finally found my balance to where I could do this for the rest of my life and I mention this because I still see women struggling with their health while taking short cuts. I want you to know there's more joy when you take it SLOW, but isn't that most things in life? Anyway, cheers to Friday and to all of you with finding your balance. Wait, but the PUMPKIN PIE OATS?!
