Motivation is the reason behind people’s actions, wants, and needs. Here are 3 important facts that you should know about motivation because let’s be honest, you will not be motivated every single day to workout. It’s just the truth and how life happens. 🤷🏻♀️ 🌈Fact #1: Goal setting is CRUCIAL. This might sound a little cliché but setting goals is so important to keep motivation high. Set smaller, more attainable goals first before setting bigger long term goals. A large goal right away might seem unattainable and hard to maintain, break it down. 🌈Fact #2: Give a reason why. Why are you doing something? Are you doing it for you or for other people? Work on something that has a purpose behind it. “When you think about quitting think about why you started.” 💛 Why did you start your fitness journey and change your lifestyle? Write it down. 🌈Fact #3: Positive Reinforcement. Give yourself breaks and incentives once you complete a part of your task or make it through your workout that day. This doesn’t mean just splurge on unhealthy foods but maybe have a little treat or a little extra of something will keep you on track for your goals.
