I am so ready for Friday and to chow down on these mini blueberry pancakes tomorrow morning! Goooood morning! My backyard nasturtiums are poppin' off, so I've been using the leaves and blooms in everything lately. These edible flowers and leaves are spicy and make the perfect raw addition to salads, tacos, pizza, just about anything! Just popping in to say hi ๐Ÿ‘‹๐Ÿป I had oatmeal for breakfast again and this was my lunch. Besides oatmeal this is the closest to real food I've had since Monday haha๐Ÿ™ƒ I made the waffle real soft and it took me awhile to eat but I did it no probs๐Ÿ’๐Ÿผ I would really love to hit the gym but ya know #myfacehurts ๐Ÿ˜… I'm all caught up on @nikkiblackketter videos and @sarahs_day vlogs and I finished Jane the Virgin season 3... so what nowยฟ?

Dinner last night = also breakfast this morning ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผ I've got no shame in eating the same things throughout the week - my lunches & breakfasts typically look the same Mon to Fri! This minimizes decision-making so that I can use that brainpower for other important tasks through the day (& be more time efficient, or else I'd prob be standing in front of the fridge for 20 extra min ๐Ÿ™ƒ).

Making the switch to eating healthier (whatever that looks like for you) can be super overwhelming. Switches usually mean change, & change is hardly ever easy - especially if you're changing a habit that you've had for a while. Pair that change with an endless amount of choices & decisions & it's like WOAH where do I begin?!??? ๐Ÿ˜ฌ๐Ÿ˜จ๐Ÿ˜ฒ.

My advice? Be repetitive โ€ผ๏ธ It minimizes decision-making, & decisions can stress us out. By taking away any extra decision-making we can eliminate an extra source of unnecessary stress! If you repeat one meal for a whole week, try to switch it up the next week just a bit - that way you're still getting a variety of foods in your diet! Maybe you have eggs, sweet potato & avocado for breakfast everyday one week, but the next week you have oatmeal with nuts/seeds & berries instead! As you get more comfortable & build up a library of meals, you can then work on expanding & varying meals through the week more โ˜บ๏ธ #foodfitnessandfaith
