Chakrasana is an intermediate/advanced posture that has a lot of benefits for mind, body and spirit.

Got in a late PULL sesh and these 3 beauties I’ve neglected for far too long. 🐊
Video 1: DB pullover w exercise ball. This drill is a great way to strengthen the Lats and Shoulders but also promotes healthy shoulder mobility. In saying that, the make or breaker of this drill is maintaining neutral position by bracing through your abdominal wall. PLEASE stop if you cannot hold it throughout the movement. Your range might be restricted but it ensures the movement is solely coming from the shoulder itself. 🐊
Video 2: Plank Renegade DB Row. This little dozy blasts your shoulders, back and core, IF DONE RIGHT! Your checklist, shoulders over hands, hips up, glutes and quads activated, and my pet peeve of them all is get in a proper row! Pull to the side of the rib cage and squeeze the shoulder blades to the spine like a normal row should be done. Stop the jerky half assed rows to the midline, it doesn’t do a thing. 🐊
Video 3: Plank rollout with exercise ball. Rollouts are a commonly used drill in many different variations but most of the time done horribly wrong and my back hurts just watching. Tip of the day with this drill is less is more. Look at my range while I perform the set. Like the pullover, if you can’t maintain neutral hips your core isn’t working worth shit and your wasting your time. This is a very advanced drill if done right so don’t rush and focus on bracing through the core, quads and glutes.

There is a lot of controversy about the right form or wrong form of exercises... I call it awareness. As long as you know what you are doing, you keep control and you have good muscle mind connection you can work on any muscle and call it safe. I used to do this exercises as a warm up when I started my journey. I used to do 50 reps before trying any lift!!!. and highly recommend it!!! 😉😉 For more videos visit my page! Lifting in 5” heels with proper form. I went to a quincenera a few years back and saw women lifting their babies all night long in really bad form. Despite being in heels you still have to maintain a flat back, you just can’t shift back as much. The ideal thing would be that my kids pick up their own toys 🤷🏻‍♀️😂. I’m only slightly dramatizing how I used to fold forward in yoga and pick things up. Swipe and read the more ideal way and exercises to create better habits for life 🙌🏼

1: Physically push your hip creases back and keep your tail bone lifted as you fold into a halfway position.
2: Touch the small of your back and feel if you have a natural curve. If you don’t, try bending the knees more, lifting the sit bones until you do! Keep your spine long from tail to crown
3: before you stand up, put your hands on your backside, press your feet into the ground and engage your legs
4: keep your hands here as you stand, reminding you to press up with your glute and leg muscles.

Kegels...what everyone tells you to do after having a baby and throughout life to keep your pelvic floor strong is actually harming your body.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

The thing is kegels do make your pelvic floor strong, however, most of your issues such as knee, hip or back pain is caused by a pelvic floor that is too strong.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
