In this workshop we will:
- Look at the basic anatomy of the spine and identify some common problems with posture, lifestyle habits and body imbalances that can lead to back pain:
- Explore optimal postural alignment
- Relieve tension and increase range of motion utilizing the breath and soft tissue release techniques
- Practice yoga asanas (poses, stretches and movement) to lengthen the spine and strengthen the core.

Make sure you are adding #transverseplane stretches and movement, especially if you have digestion issues and you sit for long periods of time!! If you’re stagnate so is your digestion process. .
I do lots of twisting exercises in #pilates . Not only do transverse exercises in class help chisel your sides, but it benefits healthy backs, hips, and helps us get into rest and digest mode.
