Happy #transformationtuesday πŸ˜€
Not all transformations are about losing weight or getting a big booty. I've had chronic urticaria (hives) for almost 10 years. Spontaneous and induced. My entire body would break out and this was a daily occurrence for many years. Since I've focused on living a healthier lifestyle, these outbreaks have almost stopped completely. I still get a reaction from heat and cold, especially on my face, but it's a small inconvenience compared to what used to be a daily nightmare. Sabrina first began practicing yoga in 2014. She quickly fell in love with the practice and began attending classes almost daily. Yoga not only strengthened her body, but also transformed her mind, increasing her focus and becoming more present. In just about six months Sabrina decided to deepen her yoga practice and become a registered yoga teacher. Sabrina completed her 200-Hour Yoga Certification Program in July of 2015 at Burn, LLC. She loves to practice and teach creative vinyasa sequences that are both challenging and empowering for any level of experience.

The HARDEST semester of my college career.πŸ™ƒ I was traveling places every weekend. I would be moving home in the middle of a workout plan. The list goes on and on. BUT I realized the β€œperfect time” to start a healthier lifestyle is RIGHT now because we make the β€œperfect time”.☝🏼✨ Why not start your β€œperfect time” right now?!

My friend, and teammate, Danae had the coolest story to share about how shakeology has impacted her life beyond weight management!! 😍😍 "I get blood drawn every 8-12 weeks so the last time was right before I started shakeology and then I had a lab draw on Monday and my RA called on Tuesday and said despite being in a lupus flare up that she was impressed by my overall labs so far and asked what I was doing and what changes I made. I told her shakeology and she laughed. Today she called back and said everything is back and she never seen someone's levels improve so much in the past weeks and was so surprised to hear me chippy and saying the flare up is over. Change starts small 🌱

The first photo on the left is January 2016 weighing in at 176 pounds at the height of 5'2. With very little muscle. This is pretty much pure fat. I was extremely uncomfortable in my body & I don't exactly buy into love your body no matter what. I didn't love my body and I didn't want to "learn to love it" at this stage. I was never "tiny" but when you don't fit in basically anything you own (& I own a lot of clothes) that becomes a problem. I'd struggled with my weight for the past 5 years. I knew I needed to make a change in my life so the first thing I did was cut out processed sugars from my diet (& if anyone knows me knows that that's really freaking hard for me. I LOVE SWEETS 🍫🍭) That is how we get to picture #2. April 2016 I decided hey let's step on the scale for the first time in months (I hate the scale btw) I had lost 15 lbs in 3 months just from cutting back drastically on my sugar intake (& eating a bit healthier and working out a few times a week) GOOO ME!! I was like yaaaaa I can actually do this.. I lose some more pounds & more fat & then the summer comes and I gain a little back. So here we are at fall 2016, I really kick my butt in gear healthy meals 80% of the time working out most days or at least doing some type of physical activity where I then hit 150 pounds!!! My clothes were staring to fit much better. I then decided in November to introduce processed sugars back into my diet which I went ape shit crazy over the holidays & LOVED every minute of it. I didn't even feel guilty. It truly is all about a healthy balanced life style (I admit I felt like a million bucks when I didn't eat crappy sugar but I loveeeee the taste of gooey melting chocolate cake so if you do too. You should have some! Treat yoooo self πŸ©πŸŽ‚) Finally here we are in the last photo just a couple of weeks on vacay πŸ‡¦πŸ‡Ί. I have been eating very well & treating myself sometimes a little too often. I go to the gym 5 times a week (rest days are important people) My clothes are actually becoming a little tooo big. I am actually falling in love with my body again. I am so HAPPY. ❀️
