Ok so let me tell you what I did today...
Went to the gym and was expecting a sort of on to it burning workout but a pretty low heart rated one too....
It was an absolute killer! 😈 My heart rate was up, my weights were heavy, my πŸ‘ was burning! Did my weight training for an hour BUT...
I didn't really feel like doing cardio cardio so I actually was like hey why don't I mix it up and do Kayla Itsines' leg day (had a 7 day free trial on the app) AND OH MY LORD. My heart was racing, I was glistening with sweat πŸ’¦, and I literally couldn't walk down stairs after.
Although I was dying though, it was awesome. It was a great workout that made me feel so good about myself πŸ€™πŸΌ

Happy hump day babes! We slept through the alarm AGAIN. Brian is going to set an alarm also so maybe between the two of us we can get up LOL. Got in my 30 minutes of cardio on the treadmill after work. Our leasing managers are literally the coolest, btw. Our gym is 24 hours, but they lock the office up at 6, which is connected to our gym. And legit every evening that I'm in there when he's locking up he cheers me. It's so motivating I swear 😊 then I went home and did the daily moves Γ— 15 Γ— 3 which holy shit I felt the burn. And if I'm not crazy enough, I'm giving myself a small arm challenge (because #bridearms) and by the time I was done with that, I was a dead sweaty mess. Arms still wonky. I'm sure I'll feel that in the morning! Happy #TIUtuesday ! Got my sweaty ass workout in before dinner! Decided to do #HIITthebeach instead of the Bobby Call HIIT workout. Honestly it was way too intense for me when I did it and it seems like HIIT the Beach is intense enough for me without going too crazy. I also decided to do the Major Booty Burn with @karenadawn for my booty workout and oh man. I am FEELING the burn from swimming yesterday and doing that workout today! What you see in the picture is a man that lost 30lbs and two pant sizes. He was considered overweight! -

But what you don't see is that his overall health has improved just by losing his weight through amazing nutrition. My hubby has horrible asthma, where simple tasks before would make him out of breathe and he would wheeze. Thankfully that has improved greatly, he changed his lifestyle because he saw how I felt and well he was sick of feeling like crap. (Guys he is way more strict than I am πŸ˜‚) -

I prep his lunches every week, he is eating every 2-3 hours, healthy options that keep him full. Prior he was eating empty calories and constantly "hangry" . I don't prep them because I enjoy it, actually it's not that hard at all πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ but I do it so he's successful. (Ps we don't restrict his calories to lose weight, we re purposed them to nutritious calories.) -

COLESLAW WITH APPLE, PARSLEY AND MIXED NUTS WITH LEMON AND MUSTARD DRESSING!!
Suitable for Vegetarians and Vegans

This Coleslaw is made using fresh raw ingredients and a simple mustard dressing.
It is delicious served as a side dish, in a wrap, on an open sandwich or simply on its own as a light Summer lunch.
It is full of flavour and different textures and is packed with and abundance of Nutrients.

White Cabbage has the highest amount of Antioxidants found in cruciferous vegetables.
It is very rich in vitamin K which is important for bone metabolism.
Vitamin K also plays a role in limiting neuronal damage in the brain.
One serving of White Cabbage provides more Vitamin C than an Orange.
Vitamin C helps protect against harmful free radicals and also helps fight infection.

5 TBSP Raw Apple Cider Vinegar
Juice 1 Lemon
1/2 Cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil or Rapeseed Oil
1 TSP Sea Salt
1/4 TSP Pepper
Shred the Courgette, Carrot and Cabbage. Chop the Apple, Parsley and Nuts
Place all ingredients in a bowl
Mix all dressing ingredients in a jar shake well and add 1/2 the jar to vegetables

Hello everyone! Not dead I promise πŸ˜‚ honestly it's been SUPER crazy and busy since my birthday wednesday. We celebrated with tons of yummy treats and drinks 🍹 and to be honest we haven't worked out since Wednesday morning. And you know what? Our eating has been SO GOOD that I haven't even felt bloated or groggy because of it! It's was our closeout week at work so it's been crazy there. Family is driving me crazy. Wedding stuff is driving me crazy. Really life in general, so I decided to buy a journal. It's a q&a, but it's something to take my mind off of things for a little bit every day and focus on that. Because #mentalhealth is just as important as physical health! Anyways, yet ANOTHER busy weekend ahead of us (is summer over yet tho?) So we will try to squeeze a workout or 2 in. A few months ago i bought these shirts from @scripted_jade and can i say my first impressions are very good! I got the "Success never sleeps" & the "Lean back" shirts in black and grey. I wasnt sure what to expect when looking on their website, but the quality and breathableness of these tanks are top notch πŸ‘ŒπŸ‘Œ They fit my figure pretty nicely except for the fact that i prefer my tanks just a little shorter πŸ€— But thats okay! Im overall very impressed and will be uploading better pics later!

Eating take-out doesn't mean that you need to eat unhealthy! Look options on the menu with whole, healthy foods and the least amount of junk as possible. Remember: salads can get calorically dense with additives such as cheese,Avocado, nuts, seeds, dressings - and while some ingredients may be healthy food, restaurants tend to give you more that a serving.

My favourite healthy recreation lately has been homemade chips!! All you have to do is cut some potatoes or sweet potatoes into wedge shapes and put any spices on them. I use chilli, paprika and dried parsley. When they are cooked I put homemade tomato sauce and tahini on topπŸ˜πŸ™Œ

Happy Monday! We were out by the pool yesterday and we both got seriously sunburnt. So when the alarm went off this morning we both agreed we weren't ready to work out πŸ˜‚ I ended up talking myself into it once I got home from work and popped on some Netflix on my phone and got it done! We are doing a modified slim down again this week. So we are going to try and follow the workouts and just generally keep it #LCG m1 this week is an egg white scramble, m2 is Apples (maybe some cinnamon if I remember lol), m3 is grilled bbq chicken with a variety of veggies, m4 will be lean meat and veggies. Maybe tomorrow I'll actually get up and get all of my bootycall workout in!
