Never take ANYTHING for granted.
Whether its a hot cup of coffee, a warm (or cool) home, a million dollars or a chicken sandwich - give gratitude for everything you have.
Live with purpose.
I took a class this morning and the instructor asked us to lift our right leg, and lower it. Then lift the left leg, and lower it. Pretty simple, right?
She then had us pause. She said, now - do that same thing... but with with intention.
Pay attention to gently lifting your leg into the air and setting it down without a sound, rather than flailing it into the air (guilty 🙋)
Just one of many ways we can be more mindful and make sure to NOT go through our day on autopilot.
Start with one thing - maybe it’s a hot shower you take before bed, or the dinner you have tonight. Choose just one thing, and try to do it more mindfully. Just START.
