I don't think I've ever posted a picture of the inside of this thing. Well, here it is....the v-berth is packed up full of tools, project materials, electronics, a few drones, sails, a ton of clutter that I removed from this main area...and a giant piece of useless foam that takes up about half the area available because my biodad has some sort of weird obsession with buying giant foam blocks in bulk.
My plans for this are pretty simple now that #school is winding down... #Biodad thought it would be a great idea to replace all the #12vdc lighting with #110vac because he had no plans of ever taking this thing out. I'm going to undo everything he did. What's the point of living on a boat if it isn't #seaworthy? I just need to..(takes a deep breath) need to replace a few sections of the deck, rebuild the #diesel, rebuild the #gasoline #outboard, build an #autopilot from an #arduino and have it control the #helm and #throttle for both, make a proper #bimini to replace the #makeshift thing that hangs over the boom because parts of it keep falling off during #storms, fix the #mainsail #halyard, get a new #headsail, #inspect and #replace #standingrigging as necessary and finally... (Almost passes out, takes another deep breath) rip out all these green cushions, sand the floor, replace the floor, replace the cushions, build a new kitchen table, redo the compartments on the interior sides, add a shelf, rebuild the entry hatch, make a new cover for the inboard engine, replace 4 dead batteries, rewire everything, figure out whether or not I want to redo the plumbing at this point or shoot myself in the kneecap then redo it anyway, shoot myself in both kneecaps for good measure and then crack open a cold beer so I can start on the more technical things... like automating the Bimini, hammock, and sails.
But that's just the small stuff. Still need to do the exterior after that and get new bottom paint 😂
#killmenow ...anybody want to buy this? Biodad wants 12 grand for it! 🤣 ....(to put this into perspective, my neighbor just sold his 35' Erickson for 14 grand, it's in absolutely perfect working order, and he takes it out sailing all the time)
