My ultimate bucketlist achieved just before the year ends. Whilst it is true that you don't just dream about something , you have to go see it or do it. I also firmly believe that things happen when you pray. The tour guide said to us that though the sky was clear that night, the chances of seeing the northern lights will be a hit and miss. And while she said we can only hope for the best, i prayed quietly. And behold, with utter disbelief, Aurora Borealis danced gracefully right in front of me. Someone shouted to everyone, "you don't know how lucky you are tonight, i exclaimed "I'm beyond blessed". I say blessed because Aurora can be very shy and can be reluctant to show up. Still amazed up to now, this experience will be a constant reminder for me that God hears our prayers, may it be a little or massive favour. Some hint: You won't see the northern lights dancing beautifully in varying colours and complexity; not with your naked eyes. Therefore i suggest you bring with you a High Definition camera and perhaps a tripod? to get high resolution images of Aurora. I never invest on expensive cameras, I only use my phone, hence my pictures are not as brilliant😜 But the best thing is to relish and enjoy the moment and be thankful always🙏🏼 #hbtravel #hbtravels #lifewelltravelled #wanderlust #blessed #northernlights #iceland ctto: first photo
