"On Nov. 11, 16-year-old Tim Deits' parents found him at home unconscious and in cardiac arrest. Engine 45 and Engine 44 arrived two minutes after 911 was called and provided CPR, defibrillation, airway management, and life saving medications. Paramedics were able to get a faint pulse and blood pressure back in the ambulance on the way to Hoag Hospital. Doctors told Tim's family that he would need a heart transplant but 2 weeks later Tim walked out of the hospital with an internal defibrillator and no other serious injuries. Tim and his parents stopped by Lake fire station to say thank you and share his story."
Super work crew!
