Today I had the privilege and honour to attend the Symposium on Stigma, Discrimination & Sex Workers' Rights at Rutherford House at Victoria University, Wellington!
This was a unique and very special opportunity to be able to listen to presentations and research, recently collated and compiled by some of the worlds leading figures at the forefront of decriminalisation of sex work, issues surrounding sex workers, migrant sex workers, the global sex industry, issues surrounding stigma and discrimination of sex workers etc.
I listened to feedback from leading representatives and researchers from Kingston University in the UK, Scarlet Alliance, our very own NZPC and many other very important organizations and individuals which are apart of the sex industry here in NZ and on a Global scale.
This was an amazing experience and truly worth attending and partaking of, amazing work by the worlds best researchers in this field, truly a unique opportunity and one I won't forget easily :-) #NZSexWork18 #VictoriaUniversity #Stigma #Discrimination #SexWorkerRights #NZPC #ScarletAlliance #haveavoice #standupandbecounted #HumanRights!!!
