So I've been slacking again recently, and wanted to make sure I went to a good place today. Though I've enjoyed a few other spots in Kreuzberg, there are just so many options that I wanted to get another take, and therefore headed to Hasir
Right off the bat, the first thing that stuck out to me was the bread. Many Döner don't give you that audible "crunch," but Hasir's did, without sacrificing any fluffiness on the interior. Their meat was also well flavored, and very tender (check my story for a close up on the spit). There was a good mix of veggies, crisp, and importantly not too much onion. The tomatoes were sliced big, which isn't my favorite, but it wasn't distracting. Finally , the sauces were sharp and flavorful without being distracting.
Overall, this was a fantastic döner, and Hasir also has a full restaurant. I'm sure their other offerings are just as good. The only reason this isn't a 4/5 is the price, but I will say you get your money's worth.
