Nobody likes that guy. Nobody believes that guy. How do I know that? I used to be him. .
I was always looking to impress and be praised. Deep conversations were never had, even when I tried my hardest. Relationships were superficial at best. When I started to really focus on coming out of my shell I learned this important way to live, be yourself. When I became more self aware and started being silent on what I don’t know, things started to change. .
Social anxiety disappeared. People wanted to stay and chat longer. Friends and even strangers were coming to me for help and advice (with what I do know). .
Don’t pretend to know it all. Just focus on what you do know and hone in on that. Rely on others to fill the gap.
