I grew up singing in the car with my family. It was on car trips like this that I learned to hold my own part in a round and sing in harmony. Unpolished, unglamorous, just everybody joining in as they're able. That's the kind of singing I wish for all people, especially those who don't think of themselves as singers. We need more of the kind of singing that invites in each voice as inherently worthy of being heard. So grateful to still get to sing with my parents on road trips from time to time, and to have our children now joining in. If you'd like to learn some sweet and simple songs to sing with your family, sign up on my website (profile) to receive a pre-order notification for my upcoming songbook. Thank you, and happy day to all fathers and the folks who love them so dearly!
