We've been going back and forth with what to do with the flooring.🤔 Most of the house has this beautiful old red oak hardwood floor that just needs some TLC to get the luster back. But the kitchen and parts of the living room has none at the moment. So we thought, either we put in a completely new floor all over the house (which would be pretty expensive), or we look for the same type of floor and try to match it. Here's a piece of a new unfinished 1/2 x 2 red oak floor that I found at @sshardwoodfloors . The new floor is slightly higher because the old one has previously been sanded, but we could just give the new an extra scrub.😊 So, if we sand everything and put on a new finish I believe it could blend in pretty well! What do you think?
