The Virage Shooting Brake Zagato was a special project to celebrate Aston Martin’s 100th birthday and 95 years of Zagato. The Shooting Brake was the third and last addition to the Centennial Trilogy: in 2013 the DBS Coupé Zagato and DB9 Spyder were unveiled. The Virage Shooting Brake Zagato was a special built for an European customer.
Its styling was intended to recall iconic Aston Martins from the 1970s and 1980s. The car, designed by Zagato under lead of Norihiko Harada, has a lot of unique character. And although it isn't perhaps successfuly executed in all places, it definitely has a lot of personality. Proportions, surfacing and jewelry are all unique, without any obvious carry-over parts. Even headlights and taillights are specifically made for this vehicle series.
