Two days a week CPA will get this little blonde headed gift of a man. On Monday when we met the teachers, and toured the classroom that Huddy would be in I was literally nauseous that night from anxiety. All the emotions of starting school flooded back to me and were amplified because my heart was feeling every emotion of change for little Hud. This morning we had a conversation about school before we left and he said, "but mama you're going to leave me!" ((Cue the major mom guilt and heart break)) I told him, "Hudson I'm not leaving you I'm taking you to school to be with your friends and learn. I'll be close by!" I saw his countenance completely shift. It's been a sweet opportunity to have this little convo with him to strengthen his heart, learn to be brave and gain confidence in himself. He's taught me how to listen to his emotions so I can direct them and point him to truth. I tell him all the time "I'll would never leave you!" Praying that these small conversations will seep into his soul so he will grow up to be a confident man.
Lots of lessons already learned and the heart work has already begun in him and us. So excited for this school year for sweet Hud!! @jordancritz #happy2017
