นอกจากเราจะเหยียดขาตรงแล้ว เรายังต้อง engage กล้ามเนื้อต้นขาด้วยการดึงสะบ้าหัวเข่าขึ้น พร้อมกับการผลักหรือดันหน้าขาไปยังหลังขาด้วย ตรงนี้จะช่วยป้องกันไม่ให้เราเทน้ำหนักไปยังส่วนด้านหลังของหัวเข่ามากเกินไปด้วยค่ะ เมื่อเราพับตัวมาด้านหน้า จะรู้สึกถึงความมั่นคงแข็งแรงตั้งแต่สะโพกยันส้นเท้าเลยค่ะ

This posture comes quite early on the Bikram sequence and you can sometimes feel that your hamstrings aren't going to do anything! But just because your knees are bent doesn't mean you're not stretching your hamstrings. So keep your knees bent: that way you can keep your body on your legs and the stretch will develop over time.

Come and practise it tomorrow with @almaniacolombo at 12:45pm or 3pm. And don't forget that Almania is teaching the Advanced class in Fridays at 1:15pm. You'll practise this posture then too!
