My sister is a rocket scientist - literally, she works for NASA and since we were little kids, she has been fascinated with exploration of the external universe: the stars, planets, galaxies; the magnificence of space and the cosmos. I went to one of her college lectures once (thermodynamics) and afterwards she asked what I thought about it. I replied honestly that the only words I understood were “and, the, and but.” As the years pass, I feel more and more like we are approaching the same search for truth from two different perspectives: she’s not crazy about the word “God,” and may not be jazzed about deep dives into scripture, breathing, or meditation - but through these things we are seeking the same Truth. Answers to the questions of who we are, why we are here, and what exists that is bigger than ourselves. With the same passion that drives her to explore the external universe, I am compelled and drawn to immerse myself completely in the internal universe: to dive deep within, and rest in the silence, observing the inward landscape, finding awe and wonder in the vastness of consciousness and the unexplainable mystery of my own being. Whether you find magic and inspiration in science, nature, faith, movement, or simply sitting with your breath, we are all cosmic explorers on a radical journey towards deeper knowledge. Keep searching, my friends. 🌙❤️✨🙏🏼🌎🚀
