Handstands are an amazing way to mix it up in your mind. It's so easy to get consumed by little things in this life; to feel overwhelmed, to feel anxious, to feel fearful of the uncertainty. Inverting not only helps you deal with these emotions by giving you a task to throw your energy into, but they revitalise your perception. Your perspective is everything, and more often than not, we doubt the notion that we can change how we see things. At the end of the day, we are who we are and we feel what we feel. True. But we always have the power to choose our focus and revise our attitude if it is no longer serving us.
If you're feeling a little lost or down or doubtful, just try to realign your focus. Pick one thing that happened today that made you smile, or laugh, or just improved your day somehow. Focus on it. Let it breathe life into. Hold onto that new energy & allow yourself to feel all the goodness; even amongst all the bad that may be there. There is always hope. And there is always you 🌠 *
If you want to improve your handstands, try doing them against a wall - body to the wall, not back! It can be a little scary so get someone to stand beside you for support as you're really putting your faith in your balance (and therefore strength & correct alignment). It's an amazing #handstandprep to help you get in touch with your body positioning & also improve your strength. *
