✖️DON'T ✖️ try to learn to handstand by kicking up at the wall! The wall is a great tool for helping balance during inversions, however, kicking up at the wall leads to what I call banana handstands. Banana handstands cause compression in the spine, neck and wrists, which can lead to serious injury. Instead walk up the wall with your belly facing the wall (SWIPE ➡️ for video on how to do this). Walking up the wall will help you learn to keep your spine lengthened and your shoulders and hips above your elbows, which is how a proper handstand is executed.
